Designing the Life: A Blog by Uma Stewart and Friends

fashion following: tangerine tango

The experts at Pantone have named Tangerine Tango the color of the year. This deep shade of orange has been a color I’ve always loved, but you’re not likely to see me in an orange dress or painting walls tangerine. It just wouldn’t feel like me! Here’s what I will do to work this beautiful shade into my interior and fashion palettes. Start with a range of creamy, golden off-whites, add denim or wood to keep it real, metals for some shine, and then layer in tangerine pieces with other warm brights, like vermillion and deep fuchsia.
